Students from the greater Seattle area will have an opportunity next week to talk with a NASA astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

NASA and Boeing will host a media teleconference at 11 a.m. EST Friday, March 6, to discuss the outcome of the joint independent review team investigation into the primary issues detected during the company’s uncrewed Orbital Flight Test in December as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

NASA has selected a new space-based instrument as an innovative and cost-effective approach to maintaining the 40-year data record of the balance between the solar radiation entering Earth’s atmosphere and the amount absorbed, reflected, and emitted.

Florida students will have an opportunity this week to talk with a NASA astronaut aboard the International Space Station.
