<\/a>NASA Television and the agency\u2019s\u00a0website<\/a>\u00a0are providing\u00a0live continuous coverage of NASA\u2019s SpaceX Crew-2 mission carrying NASA astronauts\u00a0Shane Kimbrough<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Megan McArthur<\/a>, along with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut\u00a0Akihiko\u00a0Hoshide<\/a>, and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas\u00a0Pesquet<\/a>\u00a0on their way to the\u00a0International Space Station<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Crew Dragon spacecraft, named Endeavour, began the final phase of its approach to the station at 3:31 a.m.\u00a0EDT\u00a0Saturday and is scheduled to dock at about 5:10 a.m. Crew Dragon is designed to dock autonomously, but the crew\u00a0aboard the spacecraft and the space station will monitor the performance of the spacecraft as it approaches and docks to the forward port of the station\u2019s Harmony module.<\/p>\n When the hatches open about 7:15 a.m.\u00a0Saturday, April 24, the Crew-2 astronauts will\u00a0join the Expedition 65 crew of\u00a0Shannon Walker<\/a>,\u00a0Michael Hopkins<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0Victor Glover<\/a>, and\u00a0Mark\u00a0Vande\u00a0Hei<\/a>\u00a0of NASA, as well as\u00a0Soichi\u00a0Noguchi<\/a>\u00a0of JAXA and Roscosmos cosmonauts\u00a0Oleg\u00a0Novitskiy<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pyotr\u00a0Dubrov<\/a>.
