<\/a>A Northrop Grumman\u00a0cargo ship\u00a0carrying about 8,200 pounds of science and research<\/a> investigations, supplies, and hardware is set to arrive to the\u00a0International Space Station<\/a>\u00a0early Monday morning.<\/p>\n The\u00a0uncrewed\u00a0Cygnus spacecraft\u00a0launched<\/a>\u00a0at 9:59 a.m. EDT Saturday, Nov. 2 on an Antares rocket from NASA\u2019s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.<\/p>\n When Cygnus, dubbed the S.S. Alan Bean,\u00a0arrives to the space station on Monday, Nov. 4, Expedition 61 astronauts\u00a0Jessica Meir<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Christina Koch<\/a>\u00a0of NASA will use the space station\u2019s robotic arm to capture Cygnus, and NASA\u2019s Andrew Morgan will monitor telemetry. After Cygnus\u2019 capture, ground controllers will command the station\u2019s arm to rotate and install it on the bottom of the station\u2019s Unity module\u00a0for a two-month stay.<\/p>\n Live coverage will begin on NASA TV at 2:45 a.m. and return to the air at 6:30 a.m. for installation coverage.
