<\/a>NASA Television and the agency\u2019s\u00a0website<\/a> have begun the broadcast of today\u2019s\u00a0spacewalk.<\/p>\n Expedition 56<\/a> Commander Drew Feustel and Flight Engineer Ricky Arnold of NASA are preparing to exit the International Space Station to make improvements and repairs to the orbiting laboratory. The\u00a0spacewalk\u00a0is scheduled to begin about 8:10 a.m. EDT and last about six-and-a-half hours.<\/p>\n Newly arrived Expedition 56 crew members Serena Au\u00f1\u00f3n-Chancellor<\/a>\u00a0of NASA and\u00a0Alexander Gerst<\/a> of ESA (European Space Agency)\u00a0are supporting the spacewalkers.<\/p>\n Feustel and Arnold will install new high-definition cameras near an international docking adapter mated to the front end of the station\u2019s Harmony module.
