This mission is part of NASA\u2019s Commercial Crew Program<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Launch of NASA\u2019s SpaceX Crew-9 mission is targeted for no earlier than mid-August from Launch Complex 39A at the agency\u2019s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch will carry NASA astronauts Zena Cardman, commander; Nick Hague, pilot; and Stephanie Wilson, mission specialist; along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, mission specialist.\u00a0<\/p>\n If your passion is to communicate and engage the world online, then this is the event for you! Updates and information about the event will be shared on X via @NASASocial<\/a> and @NASAKennedy<\/a>, and via posts to Facebook<\/a> and Instagram<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n How do I register?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n Registration for this event opens on Wednesday, July 17,\u00a0and the deadline to apply is at 10 a.m. EDT on Monday, July 22. All social applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n Can I register if I am not a U.S. citizen?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n Because of the security deadlines, registration is limited to U.S. citizens. You are responsible for your own expenses for travel, accommodations, food, and other amenities.\u00a0<\/p>\n Some events and participants scheduled to appear at the event are subject to change without notice. NASA is not responsible for loss or damage incurred as a result of attending. NASA, moreover, is not responsible for loss or damage incurred if the event is cancelled with limited or no notice. If the launch date changes, NASA may adjust the date of the NASA Social accordingly to coincide with the new target launch date. NASA will notify registrants of any changes by email.\u00a0<\/p>\n If the launch is postponed, attendees will be invited to attend a later launch date. NASA cannot accommodate attendees for delays beyond 72 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n NASA Social attendees are responsible for any additional costs they incur related to any launch delay. We strongly encourage participants to make travel arrangements that are refundable and\/or flexible.\u00a0<\/p>\n What if I cannot come to the Kennedy Space Center?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n If you cannot come to the Kennedy Space Center and attend in person, you should not register for the NASA Social.
