Preparations for Next Moonwalk Simulations Underway (and Underwater)<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Next Generation Science Standards:<\/strong>\u00a0Engineering Design (MS-PS4-1, MS-ETS1)<\/p>\n

Grades 5+ <\/p>\n

In this activity, students will create an \u201cantenna\u201d or \u201creceiver\u201d out of re-used materials. After construction is complete, the students test their design by throwing \u201cdata\u201d (in this case, ping pong balls) across the room and comparing the message to test the success of their receivers.<\/p>\n
