Mountain Rain or Snow Volunteers Broke Records This Winter<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
The\u00a0Mountain Rain or Snow project<\/a>\u00a0asks volunteers to track rain, snow, and mixed precipitation all winter long\u2014and this was a winter like no other!\u00a0This season, 1,684 people submitted precipitation observations\u2014that\u2019s\u00a0about a third more than last\u00a0season.\u00a0These volunteers submitted over 32,110 observations, breaking last year\u2019s record by over 10,000.<\/p>\n Some observers excelled by sending\u00a0in hundreds of observations\u2014Patrick Thorson\u00a0submitted 676!
