El Explorador de la Composici\u00f3n Interior de las Estrellas de Neutrones (<strong>NICER<\/strong>, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) recoge esta radiaci\u00f3n para estudiar la estructura, la din\u00e1mica y la energ\u00eda de los p\u00falsares. Los investigadores utilizaron los datos de NICER para <a href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.3847\/1538-4357\/ac8743\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">calcular<\/a> la rotaci\u00f3n de seis p\u00falsares y actualizar los modelos matem\u00e1ticos de las propiedades de su rotaci\u00f3n. Estos fen\u00f3menos ocurren muy por encima de las altitudes normales de los rel\u00e1mpagos y las nubes de tormenta. Utilizando los datos de ASIM, los investigadores realizaron las primeras <a href=\"https:\/\/agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1029\/2022GL100594\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">observaciones<\/a> detalladas del desarrollo de un l\u00edder negativo, o el inicio de un destello, a partir de un rel\u00e1mpago en una nube. Comprender de qu\u00e9 modo las tormentas el\u00e9ctricas perturban la atm\u00f3sfera a gran altitud podr\u00eda mejorar los modelos atmosf\u00e9ricos y las predicciones clim\u00e1ticas y meteorol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regeneraci\u00f3n de tejidos en el espacio<\/h2>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n Regeneraci\u00f3n de tejidos \u2013 Defectos \u00f3seos (<strong>Investigaci\u00f3n en Roedores 4<\/strong>, Centro para el Avance de la Ciencia en el Espacio, o CASIS), patrocinada por el Laboratorio Nacional de la EEI, examin\u00f3 los mecanismos de cicatrizaci\u00f3n de las heridas en microgravedad. Los investigadores <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/1422-0067\/24\/3\/1939\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">descubrieron<\/a> que la microgravedad afectaba a los componentes fibrosos y celulares del tejido cut\u00e1neo. Las estructuras fibrosas en el tejido conectivo proporcionan estructura y protecci\u00f3n a los \u00f3rganos del cuerpo. Tres investigaciones de la JAXA, <strong>MHU-1<\/strong>, <strong>MHU-4<\/strong> y <strong>MHU-5<\/strong>, emplearon el sistema de gravedad artificial para examinar el efecto en los m\u00fasculos esquel\u00e9ticos que producen diferentes cargas gravitatorias: microgravedad, gravedad lunar (1\/6 g) y gravedad terrestre (1 g).
